Sauce Bolognese
INGREDIENTS:

1/4 cup olive oil

1 yellow onion
-
3 cloves garlic
-
2 teaspoons kosher salt

1 teaspoon black pepper
-
2 pounds ground beef
-
1 cup tomato paste
-
2 cups of water
-
1 cup dry white wine
-
Basil
DIRECTIONS:
1. Dice and saute the onions for about 20 minutes, until onions are golden.
2. Separately salt, pepper and saute the ground beef . Cook until meat is well caremelized.
3. Add tomato puree, garlic, water, basil and white wine. Stir well and simmer, uncovered, over low heat for 1 1/2 hours.
